Discovering the artist in me

So Today was day one of exploring in adobe illustrator... YIPES! I was very nervous to say the least. I feel as if everyone in these classes are much more advanced in the programs than I am, so I tried to stay veryyyy focused, and I learned a ton! I found that (V) you click to select an object you have created you can press (P) for pen and you can create your own points by just clicking on different places on the frame. I learned that to copy and paste the image on just one frame you press command (c) then command (f) instead of the usual (v). I found that you can write on a swirled line, which by far was thee most exciting thing that I learned! I know that its something small, but a tool I know I will consistently use time after time. We also explored how to increase boarders by changing the stroke line, distorting an image to make it one that you want, and merging two images that you have cut. I was very pleasantly surprised that I could actually keep up, and am looking forward to all the exciting things I get to learn about!
