My Cinema Verite video!!
My first video. This project I was really not looking forward to. I think it was just the idea that I had no idea how to do the skills that are necessary to make a good music video. This has been a challenge for me to overcome my mind and realize that I can do a lot of the things necessary for me to be good at DTC. I have found that you just have to take one step at a time. Thats how I took this project. One step at a time. Doug said that if you're going to have a four minutes video you're going to need fourty minutes of footage, and I took two hours of footage! I had so much footage to go through that my cinema verite took me forever to just find the final footage I'd use. But, what I really appreciated about having all that footage is that I had so much variety in my video. Editing my video was rough because I wanted to have so much and I had put so much work into my video taping but I just took each clip and picked my favorite scenes and what looked good with my sound track and choose that way. After all the stress and anxiety over this video, I was proud of what I had created. I am happy to say that I am looking forward to making another one just because!
